My last post was in July 2008! :P

I didn't even remember I had a blog; in 2008 I had made this wondering what a blog really is! :P

Last year i remember when the professor asked in the class "which of u have a blog or a website?" ...
many proud people raised their hands; why were they proud? Doesn't it take less than a min to make a blog or a website? & a few more mins to fill it with crap copied using google & to make a stupid "contact me" or "comment" link which you know in the back of your mind no one would actually be clicking?

...I have always been wondering what's so amazing about a blog?
It doesn't really pay unless you have something amazing on it, which 99% of the bloggers don't.
If jotting down excerpts from your life is your hobby then why not use a paper & a pen?

Most people make blogs & slowly they abandon it, as it actually serves no real purpose in their lives..just like 5 years ago I made a hi5 profile which serves no purpose anymore because everyone I knew at that time, started using orkut 3 years ago.
Today my orkut profile serves no purpose as everyone I knew 3 years ago is using facebook today.
Facebook maybe here to stay, but after 2 years of using it...I feel it actually serves no real purpose other than for some people who dress & smile their best to upload pics on it..hehe
To mock such idle & useless people, I clicked pics of my polished shoe & put it up on facebook :P
Sadly, people seeing my shoe didn't really understand that its a kick on their butts to wake them up & to get real :P I also uploaded pics of a few beautiful, rare & expensive flowers from my mom's garden, they recieved no real comments.

Anyways, I have had my own personal moments of happiness & sadness with facebook too!

Sometime last year, I saw untagged vulgar pics of my then gf in which she was happily posing in a late night booze & drug party she went to after tellin me on fone that she's going to sleep...hehe, its funny I know :P but at that time it was very sad for me.
Also, a few months ago I added a pretty girl from my college thinking of getting to know her, she has either ignored my request, or maybe she needs a few more months to consider it...lol, I don't really know. That sums up the sadness :P

Happiness part: I found old friends!! Old from the times when having a mobile in India was a BIG deal! :D I searched for many & found almost all of them, we exchanged numbers & now we're in touch again! :) I also searched for a very pretty childhood friend who was in my school...didn't find her, but I'm still looking & am hopeful :P
